One of the most rewarding aspects of farmers’ markets is for shoppers to meet the faces behind their food and for vendors to meet the community they nourish. Consumers of the Burlington Market know they can purchase nourishing fresh food and quality plants for home gardening, annuals and perennials for their flowerbeds. Each week at the height of the season, over twenty-five family farms and small businesses come to our market. Among their offerings are smiles, samples, recipes and an incredible array of locally grown foods.
Meet Our Producers & Vendors!
One of the many special aspects of shopping at farmers’ markets is getting to know the farmers and vendors who work so hard to bring their offerings to market. Our farmers and producers are truly passionate about bringing you the best, freshest local food available. Each of them has a unique story to tell.
We have compiled some brief profiles to introduce you to some of our producers and vendors. We will be adding to them as we, our farmers and vendors, find the time.
